Data that tells stories

I love to deal with data visualization, an essential tool in today's data-driven world. My approach combines aesthetic design with practical functionality, ensuring that complex information is not only accessible, but also engaging. I strive to transform raw data from various industries and contexts into clear, insightful visual narratives that support decision-making or storytelling.

Why do we need to do it?

Because we need to understand the world around us… We need to understand our industry, our business, our market, the things we’re passionate about, the things we’re worried about, how our daily lives are changing. Billions of pieces of data provide the answers. Are we prepared to ingest it, process it or react to it? Here I present some of the projects I’ve led, on subjects that probably speak to me more than to you.
But I’m always open to your ideas.

Most profitable movies of all time

A chart showing all films that have grossed more than $300 million up to July 2023.

As of July 2023, “Avatar” (2009) was the highest-grossing film, earning about 2.92 billion U.S. dollars worldwide. It was followed by “Avengers: Endgame” (2019) and “Avatar: The Way of Water” (2022), with revenues of approximately 2.8 billion and 2.32 billion dollars, respectively.
In 2021, global box office revenues increased by over 80%, reaching 21.3 billion dollars, but this was still less than 51% of the 2019 pre-pandemic figures. Major franchises like the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars remained popular. Adventure and action films are most popular, while niches like horror, romcoms, and musicals cater to dedicated fans.
